Statement on coronavirus 23/03/20
The staff at Rocket Computer Service Ltd are committed to the continued delivery of our services and support to the highest possible standard without putting the health and wellbeing of our staff or our customers at risk.
We understand the importance of co-operating with our staff and customers during this time of uncertainty to ensure the correct procedures are in place for the safe continuation of business and support for all.
With the current reported cases of Coronavirus confirmed in the UK, there is no current impact to our team or the services that we provide to date however, due to the ever-changing situation in the UK and guidance from the government this will have to remain dynamic over the coming weeks.
To ensure we meet our targets for staff and customer safety, we will be carrying out the below as a minimum to assist:
• Monitoring of the advice and guidance issued by the Department of Health and Social Care, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation;
• Monitoring of reported cases and infection rates;
• Monitoring of travel advice for staff travelling within UK;
• Reducing any non-essential travel to customer site;
• Internal communications to provide updates to our staff.
In addition to taking advice from authorities, we are ready to put in place appropriate and precautionary measures should this be necessary which could include movement of work to alternative locations and/or movement of staff to alternative locations for the work to be performed;
We will be continually be in touch with our customers and third-party suppliers over this period of time and if you have any immediate questions or require any further information, please drop us an email on email@example.com where we will be aiming to provide support as needed and have extended this period outside of working hours.
